WorshipMetrics, a product of L&P Inventions, LLC ("we," "our," or "us"), is a church production and operations platform. It spans a cloud web app (attendance, service planning, member and volunteer management, digital signage, livestreaming, and reporting) and a desktop "Tech Manager" application that runs in the A/V booth to monitor and control streaming, switchers, cameras, and displays. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect across both, how we use it, and the choices you have. We understand the sensitive nature of congregation data and build the platform with privacy as a core principle.
For most member, attendance, and ministry data, your church is the data controllerand WorshipMetrics acts as a data processor on your behalf. By using WorshipMetrics, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Accounts are created and authenticated through Clerk, our identity provider. We do not store your password; Clerk manages credentials, multi-factor authentication, and session security. For each account we store:
You may enter information about the people in your congregation, including:
Important: All member data is strictly scoped to your organization and never shared with other users or organizations.
We store attendance records (in-person and online counts, demographic breakdowns, tracking method), service plans and their order of service, song and media libraries, presentations, and related ministry content you create in the platform.
The desktop Tech Manager discovers and monitors the audio/video equipment on your booth's local network. We collect an inventory of that equipment (device names, models, IP and MAC addresses, ports, connection/signal topology) and operational telemetry (device health, encoder and stream status, audio levels, system information such as CPU/memory, and network-controller data where a UniFi or similar controller is present). This telemetry describes equipment, not individuals, and is used for live monitoring, diagnostics, Sunday-service reliability, and Self Healing.
Self Healing watches the streams and recordings started from WorshipMetrics. When one stops unexpectedly, Self Healing does not restart it by itself; it asks a person first. The request appears on the booth computer and under Alerts in the WorshipMetrics app, where anyone at the booth or signed in to your organization can approve the restart or leave it off, and people who opt in can also receive it by email or text message. Nothing is restarted unless someone approves, and a request nobody answers ends after ten minutes with nothing restarted. We keep a record of each request and of who answered it. Self Healing is on by default and can be switched off for each Tech Manager. The only things the Tech Manager restarts without asking are its own parts: if the Tech Manager or its presentation output closes unexpectedly, it can reopen itself and put back what it was already showing, and it reports each time it does so on the booth and under Alerts.
Remote camera control and switcher preview relay periodic still frames (JPEG snapshots) from your cameras or program output from the booth to the cloud so an authorized operator can see what a camera is pointed at and control PTZ, scenes, and audio from the web app. These frames may incidentally include images of people present in your venue. They are used only to render the live control surface for your own authorized team, are transmitted over encrypted connections, and are not used for facial recognition or individual identification.
If you use WorshipMetrics Stream, your encoder pushes your live broadcast to our cloud ingest, which relays it to your chosen destinations (such as YouTube or Facebook), serves an embeddable player and hosted watch page, and can record the broadcast for later viewing. We store stream session metadata and usage (stream duration, embedded-player viewer counts and watch time, peak concurrency) for metering and reporting, and store recordings you choose to keep for a limited retention period. Viewers on third-party platforms (YouTube, Facebook) are governed by those platforms' policies and are not metered by us.
For paid plans we use Stripe to process payments. Stripe collects your payment method details directly; we store only the Stripe customer/subscription identifiers and plan state in our database, never full card numbers. See Stripe's Privacy Policy for how they handle payment information.
If you enable event registration or check-in, we collect the names, contact details, party size, and optional notes submitted by individuals through your public registration and check-in forms.
If you connect a YouTube channel, Facebook page, or Planning Center account, we store the tokens and identifiers needed to provide that integration (encrypted at rest) and retrieve the metrics or records you have authorized — for example livestream and video performance from the YouTube Data and Analytics APIs. We do not access viewer identities or private channel data beyond what the integration requires.
Our people-counting technology uses computer vision to count individuals in camera feeds without identifying them. We do NOT use facial recognition, do NOT store identifiable images of individuals for the purpose of tracking them, and do NOT track specific people across sessions. Our system counts people, not identities.
Features such as the in-app assistant, sermon transcription, and content generation send the relevant text, audio, or diagnostic context to AI providers (which may include Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google) and transcription providers (such as AssemblyAI) to produce a result. We send only the data needed for the requested feature and do not authorize these providers to train foundation models on your congregation's private data.
We work with trusted providers that access only the data needed for their function and are obligated to protect it:
We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal information or congregation data to third parties for marketing purposes. Your congregation's data belongs to you.
Member data, attendance records, AV inventory, and church information are isolated to your organization. Only team members you invite can access your organization's data.
We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental regulation, or where we believe in good faith it is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to lawful government requests.
If you opt in to text messages from WorshipMetrics, we use your mobile number only to send the texts you signed up for. WorshipMetrics Sunday readiness texts are operational text messages from WorshipMetrics, the church production and operations platform run by L&P Inventions, LLC. The program covers Sunday readiness alerts to the volunteers who run a church's audio, video and livestream, status updates on support tickets to the people who opened or follow them, and internal alerts to our own on-call staff. They are never marketing or promotional messages. Message frequency varies, usually a few messages a week around your services. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Mobile numbers and text opt-in consent are never sold, rented or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Reply STOP to any text to cancel. For help, reply HELP to any text, email [email protected], or call (910) 967-7447. The full SMS terms, including how consent is collected for each kind of message, are published at https://worshipmetrics.com/sms-terms/.
See our SMS terms for the full program terms.
Calls to our support line, (910) 967-7447, are recorded and transcribed to help our team support your church; the greeting says so before you are connected. Support PINs are never recorded. Recordings are deleted 90 days after the call; transcripts are kept.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for notifying us of any unauthorized access.
WorshipMetrics processes data that may reveal religious affiliation (church membership, attendance at religious services, denomination). Under laws such as the GDPR this is "special category" or "sensitive" personal data. We process it to provide church-management services on your behalf, based on your instructions as the controller and the explicit consent captured through your use of the platform.
You can access and update your account, church profile, member records, and attendance data through the platform's settings and management pages.
You can delete individual member records, attendance data, recordings, and other content through the platform. Deleting your organization from Settings removes your organization's data. On an account-deletion request we permanently delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.
You can export people data as CSV from the platform, and may request a broader copy of your organization's data through support in a commonly used, machine-readable format.
We send transactional emails necessary to operate the platform (invitations, security, and service summaries). You can turn off service-summary emails in Settings.
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and authenticate your requests, and browser localStorage to remember preferences (such as theme and counter settings) on your device. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
WorshipMetrics is a tool for churches and ministry staff and is not intended for use by children as account holders. We do not knowingly allow anyone under 13 to create an account or use the platform independently. Churches may store information about minors in their congregation (for example, a child's attendance or check-in record, or a family grouping) for ministry purposes; in that case the church is the controller of that data and is responsible for obtaining any parental or guardian consent required by law. Our AI people-counting does not identify individuals, including minors. If you believe a child has independently provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
When you invite team members by email, we send a secure invitation link containing a unique token via Resend. Invitations expire and can be revoked. Invited users create their own accounts through Clerk and accept the current Terms of Service and Privacy Policy when they join. All team members see the same organization-level data while keeping their own preferences.
WorshipMetrics is operated from and hosted in the United States (Railway and Neon infrastructure). If you access the platform from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States. By using the platform, you consent to this transfer.
We retain account and congregation data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Stream recordings are retained for the period associated with your plan (and any archive add-on) and then removed. On account deletion we delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal compliance, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, or security.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to request disclosure of the personal information we collect and use, request deletion, opt out of the "sale" of personal information (we do not sell it), and not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. Contact us using Section 18.
If you are located in the EEA, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise these rights, contact us using Section 18; we respond within 30 days.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. We update the "Last Updated" date above and, for material changes, may ask you to re-accept the updated policy the next time you sign in. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Acknowledgment and Consent: By creating an account, accepting a team invitation, or otherwise using WorshipMetrics, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Privacy Policy, including our processing of religious-affiliation data and the transfer of your data to the United States. We record the date and version you accept.
